Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) is gearing up for Meguiar’s MotorEx 2026, taking its premium braking performance to Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May 2026 for one of Australia’s biggest celebrations of car culture, performance builds and automotive passion.
At this year’s event, DBA will put the spotlight on its 5000 Series rotors and a broader performance braking line-up built for drivers who demand more from every stop. Designed as a composite two-piece direct replacement rotor, the 5000 Series combines high-carbon cast iron rings with aerospace-grade aluminium hats to help deliver reduced unsprung weight, improved heat management and the braking consistency needed for high-performance street driving, track days, club racing, rally applications and show vehicles.
Beyond the 5000 Series, visitors to the DBA stand will be able to get up close with a full range of performance-focused braking solutions, including 4000 Series rotors and DBA’s friction range, developed to support everything from spirited street driving through to serious circuit use. With a braking portfolio that spans street, performance, 4WD and motorsport applications, DBA continues to engineer solutions for car enthusiasts who want confidence, control and consistency under pressure.
Adding to the stand experience, DBA will also feature the KingXA display car, showcasing DBA rotors in a build that captures the performance spirit of MotorEx. Bringing together standout presentation and real braking hardware, KingXA gives enthusiasts the chance to see DBA performance where it belongs — on a vehicle built to turn heads and command attention.
Meguiar’s MotorEx is promoted as a two-day celebration of car culture, bringing together show cars, drifting, cruising, live music and Australia’s largest performance automotive trade show. DBA invites enthusiasts, workshops and performance-minded drivers to visit the stand, explore the range and experience braking technology engineered for cars built to perform.
