After Disc Brakes Australia’s recent announcement of its continued support for Australian Supercars powerhouse Tickford Racing, the company is thrilled to confirm that it is also renewing its partnership with Motorsport Australia as their Official Braking Partner, further showcasing its strong investment in the motorsport community. The extension will also see DBA partner individually with Motorsport Australia’s flagship competitions – the Shannons SpeedSeries and the EROAD Australian Rally Championship in 2025.
Disc Brakes Australia General Manager, Vera Gerard, expressed the team’s enthusiasm about continuing the partnership for another year.
“Motorsport Australia remains a powerful presence in the performance and automotive sectors, and we’re excited to further invest in the sport while supporting Australian competitors and officials,” Gerard said. “As Australia’s leading manufacturer of brake rotors, this partnership offers us a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our connection with the racing community. We look forward to providing Motorsport Australia members with our extensive range of braking products.”
Motorsport Australia is the peak body for motorsport in Australia as the FIA-delegated authority, ensuring safety, fairness, and social responsibility in the sport. The focus of its activities lies on sport and club development by providing leadership, innovation, and inclusive programs to increase participation and diversity. Additionally, MA aims to foster partnerships with other motoring bodies, stakeholders, and motoring enthusiasts by engaging them through various programs and initiatives.
Motorsport Australia General Manager of Partnerships Scott Tabe-Lewis is pleased to continue the partnership with the leading Australian brake brand. “We’re excited to continue working with the team at DBA in 2025 as the Official Braking Partner,” Tabe-Lewis said. “DBA has a great history of supplying high-quality products to various levels of the motorsport community, and our members will benefit from the extension of this partnership, which is something we look forward to working with DBA to provide this season.”
